Do you ever want to color saturate a room in your house, but don’t want to do too big of an area? A faux mudroom is the perfect place to do it. This is a great place to serve as your “drop zone” for shoes, purse, backpacks, and hats, but make it pretty. I also love the touch of the kid’s pictures above the hooks because it is a pretty way to designate each kid’s hooks. This is a high traffic area in our home. 🙂
- Circle Area Rug: I had never had a circle area rug before, but when I finally purchased one I fell in love. You don’t see them as often, but they add so much charm to a space. Affiliate Link: https://amzn.to/4yIQciA
- Wooden Bench: we have a bench just like this with storage built in in our mudroom area. It is great to hold bags, but also store beanies and gloves inside. I am giving you two options whether you want your shoes to be on the shelf below the bench or hidden. - Picture Frames: I am a picture lover and make sure to have frames and pictures all over our house. My kids also love seeing pictures and love it when I update them. Get the matching frames and you will love this as your showcase of this area. Affiliate Link: https://amzn.to/4b6jT30
- Gold Hooks: These are an addition that are so easy for the DIYers! Get a set of these and screw them to your board and batten. You now have a space to hang those bags, jackets, and hats! Affiliate Link: https://amzn.to/44IcG5w
Make each of your spaces your own and create your Happy Haven 🙂
